# iShield (Selling) - When It Applies & How It Protects You
Selling safely matters. **iShield** on iBoosts is designed to protect you from payment-related risks and chargeback fraud, so you can focus on selling with confidence.
## 1. Automatic Protection – From the Moment You Get Paid
iShield activates automatically the moment a buyer successfully completes payment. We verify the payment and secure the funds in escrow, guaranteeing that the money is available before you deliver the goods.
There’s no extra cost and no manual activation required. Protection is built into every transaction.
## 2. Category-Based Fund Release (Seller Warranty)
To protect against account recovery fraud and ensure a fair marketplace, funds are released to your available balance based on the category of the item you sold:
- **Game Accounts:** Because accounts have a higher risk of being reclaimed, funds are held in escrow for **7 days** after the buyer confirms receipt. If the buyer never confirms, the funds will automatically release **14 days** after delivery.
- **Gift Cards:** Instantly released to your balance upon buyer confirmation. If the buyer never confirms, funds auto-release **5 days** after delivery.
- **In-Game Currency & Items:** Instantly released to your balance upon buyer confirmation. If the buyer never confirms, funds auto-release **3 days** after delivery.
- **Boosting Services:** Instantly released to your balance upon buyer confirmation. If the buyer never confirms, funds auto-release **3 days** after delivery.
## 3. Protection Against Chargebacks
Online payments can sometimes involve risks like chargebacks. iShield acts as a barrier between you and fraudulent buyers. Once an order is fully completed and the escrow is released, the sale is final. If a buyer attempts a fraudulent chargeback after this point, iBoosts handles the dispute with the payment processor, and your earnings remain safe.
